Another year has passed! Sure it is that all those months flew away so fast. In terms of how my reading went this year, I kind of slacked off and read less than I did last year. Nevertheless, I am still proud of myself for still reading books even though I’ve got a busy schedule. So, here are my Top 10 reads in 2015.
- Queen of Shadows (Throne of Glass #4) by Sarah J. Maas
Oh gods above, everytime I think about this book, I get all sorts of feelings. I want to cry and laugh at the same time. This practically drove me crazy since I finished reading it. I will not tell much about this book but I swear you should read it. There are at least 2 more books to go for this series.
2. A Court of Thorns and Roses (A Court of Thorns and Roses #1) by Sarah J. Maas
Isn’t it too obvious yet that I love Sarah J. Maas? Lol. She’s really incredible in creating amazing stories and characters that you will surely fall in love with. I can’t wait to read more from this series. A Court of Mist and Fury I am waiting for ya!
3. Six of Crows (Six of Crows #1) by Leigh Bardugo
Another Fantasy novel in my list is Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo. This is an action-packed story about outcasts but with special talents. Warning: Characters too much adorable to the nth level!
4. Hero of Ages (Mistborn ##3) by Brandon Sanderson
Thank goodness for booktube! It’s because of it that I got to discover the fantastic Mistborn series. It’s unlike anything that I have ever read before. It may take some time and dedication to fully get on the excitement on the story but the effort will be so worth it.
5. Landline by Rainbow Rowell
With any Rainbow Rowell book, you can never go wrong. In the beginning, I had my doubts about it but later on, I felt so much love for this story. It’s heartwarming and touching.
6. November 9 by Colleen Hoover
This book made me drown in feels. With each turn of the page, I wanted to grab the characters from it and give them a hug. Whether it is a happy or sad scene, I just really want to protect them and keep them safe. Fallon and Ben ILY!
7. Clockwork Princess (The Infernal Devices #3) by Cassandra Clare
I know. I know. I am late in the bandwagon. At least, it’s never too late right? After finishing the three books in TID, I am very curious to get started with The Mortal Instruments.
8. Slammed (Slammed #1) by Colleen Hoover
Colleen Hoover never fails me as a reader. As soon as I get into her books, I am having a hard time making myself stop and rest. It’s just so addicting just like Will and Layken’s slam poetry.
9. Warrior Heir (The Heir Chronicles #1) by Cinda Williams Chima
A wizard story always fascinates me. Reading this is such a fun experience for me. Too bad, I haven’t read the other books in the series but I will surely get back to them.
10. Obsidian (Lux #1) by Jennifer L. Armentrout
I’m super glad that I got to read this series! Reading Obsidian gave me a strong sense of Deja Vu. It’s like reading Twilight all over again! I enjoyed my time diving into Kat and Daemon’s epic love story.
That’s it! I am looking forward to another year filled with fangirliness and books! Happy New Year everyone!
