Empire of Storms/ Doraelin Theories

I just want to put this out here that I am so friggin excited that the next book in my favorite series, Throne of Glass, is about to be released in 10 days. Imagine how hard it must have been for me and other hardcore ToG fans out there to wait for a year just to have this precious baby in our hands.

So, in advance celebration of the upcoming EoS release, here are some of my speculations for the next installment in the ToG series:

  • Yrene Towers comeback

In QoS, it is no secret that Nesryn will accompany Chaol to Torre Cesme to get him healed and by some twist of fate, they’re going to meet Yrene Towers. Speculation #1: She’s going to come with them back to Adarlan (and maybe but I’m praying to all the gods that this will not happen) will meet Dorian. Dorian might see Sorscha in Yrene..So it may be possible that she can be a candidate for a future queen, However, I still strongly doubt that this will happen because yes..Doraelin is still in the game.

  • Blood ties can’t be broken.

I saw somewhere online that this may pertain to Aelin and Rowan “being Caranam” and their ties being impossible to be broken. Here’s the thing…I don’t think that this refers to Rowaelin. When Queen Elena said this in ToG (I’m not sure), I guess when she said this, she was warning Celaena/Aelin about blood ties. That being particularly about Rowan’s blood sworn oath to Maeve. Maeve is a very powerful fae and letting Aelin win at that time was too easy. I think Maeve has an ulterior motive behind that. She is not going to let Rowan slip away from her hands easily. In EoS, I am guessing that the Fae Queen will claim Rowan back through that blood tie and Rowan will be used against Aelin or something like that.

  • Queen Elena and other characters might be back through a wyrdgate.

Total crazy theory here. I am guessing that Aelin and company will find a way to use a wyrdgate on-hand to call for a help from someone. That will be no other than Queen Elena herself. In ToG and CoM, she has been making appearances and we’ve pretty much missed her since then. My Doraelin shipper heart tells me that she’ll play a big part in bringing back my babies together.

Nehemia may come back as well to help Dorian maybe? Dorian has no one in the castle remember? Who else is going to help him but Nehemia and hopefully King Gavin and Queen Elena?

  • Dorian and Mort encounter

With no one else around Dorian, what else is he going to do? He’s probably going to research more on his powers. He’s going to have to go to the same place where Celaena found the ancient tomb of King Gavin and Queen Elena. While he’s there, he’s got to have a conversation with Mort. I bet he and Mort will have a good long talk about what Dorian needs to know about his powers and ancestry.

  • Aelin and Dorian are mates.

There was this released quote from EoS which talks about finding each other throughout the centuries. Guess what? Aelin and Dorian are really Gavin and Elena reincarnated. What else was the purpose of Cain giving emphasis to “You were all brought here for an unfinished game” thingy? Plus, I’m sure Queen Elena has also given hints to that.

Another was Dorian and Aelin finding each other throughout the books.

1st Encounter: King of Adarlan bringing little Dorian to visit Terrasen, where he meets little Aelin.

2nd Encounter:The Assassin’s Blade (not sure which one), the party that Dorian and Chaol crashed? Those two met again unexpectedly and briefly.

3rd Encounter: Dorian, unknowingly, choosing Aelin (aka Celaena Sardothien back then) as his champion for the King’s contest.

Need I remind you of that epic Doraelin moment in QoS with “They were infinite. They were the beginning and ending” scene. Plus, there are so many Doraelin and FeyRhys/FeySand parallels.

  • My baby Aedion will have a beautiful long life with Lyssandra.

He is so not going to die. I know in my heart that he is going to survive whatever war they will face in the upcoming books. Also, I think that he’s gonna get together with Lyssandra. Lyssandrion FTW!!!!

  • Malide will happen.

Many are speculating about Manorian happening but I can think of hundreds of reasons why they are not compatible. I’d rather have Malide happen. I mean those two are so adorable together. It’s going to make Abraxos so happy!!!

That’s all I’ve got for now. I’ll update this when I come up with more theories. 🙂

I’m on Tumblr too where I fangirl more about Doraelin and the ToG world. It’s doraelinisinfinite.tumblr.com

Sarah J. Maas in PH Book Signing RECAP

10300521_10201172260185548_7117091803614010084_n (1)

March 13, 2016 has been officially my favorite day ever this year. I got to meet the Queen, Sarah J. Maas. The book signing event was hosted by National Book Store and was held at NBS Glorietta 1.

I went to the venue as early as 10AM the day before. I was 7th in line. The earliest attendee arrived at 5:30 freaking AM. Oh gods! I just love Sarah so so so much that I camped out for the first time in FOREVER. The whole experience was better because I met my new friends from the ToG facebook group that I am a member of. Also, it was so fun to discuss all things ToG and ACOTAR with them. (In my usual day, I actually yearn to have people to actually talk about this subject to. Can’t help but talk to my brothers who looks at me like I’m a crazy lady when I do that.)

The whole event especially lining up for the book signing was surprisingly organized. There were “bouncers” who ensures that no one tries to cut into the lines and make “singit” as the Filipinos call it.

The loooooonggggggg waiting period was the hardest. I survived on foods and interrupted periods of naps the whole night long. When the BIG DAY for us came, we were all energized especially when it was time for registration. After that, it was as if the whole day was a blur.

Then, 2PM came and everyone was excited. When, Sarah arrived, everyone was screaming and chanting and cheering for their ships! I love all the feels flood that day. I’m so happy to learn that there are many who are sailing with me in the DORAELIN SHIP. My fangirl heart could never be happier than this.

Author interview came next. What really stuck to my mind was when Sam was brought up..and she told us that it was also hard for her to write about him. Also, when she said that she adapted the “I will not be afraid” line from ToG in her life. I was brought to tears and we can all feel that she was trying not to cry as well. Oh, she was also asked who she connects to the most among the 3 lead guys in ToG. Her answer was on the safe side but she described Dorian the longest. 😉 ❤ I was also overwhelmed with feels when she said how the Filipino readers are the best in the world.

The actual book signing took place. When it was my turn, I was really freaking out inside and trying so hard to calm down. Oh my gods, it was as if I was starstruck. I felt that I met Aelin in flesh (and when I saw her husband, Josh, like he’s totally Dorian). I swear it’s like I met King Dorian and Queen Aelin in front of me. I literally was a loss for words and just said that I was so happy to see her and was trying so hard not to cry. *I know totally embarrassing, I hope Sarah was not freaked out by me* I thanked her for coming and that the camp out was so worth it bc I got to meet her. Too bad, the management was not allowing hugs..but at least I did the author-handshake with her.

Thank you to Sarah for coming! We’re really blessed and overjoyed to have you here in our country. I hope you’ll come back with your hubs. To National Book Store, lots of gratitude from me for making the impossible happen. Thank you for making the Filipino book nerds dream come true. 🙂

Sarah J. Maas in Philippines!

When Sarah’s newsletter arrived in my e-mail and I read about her upcoming book signing in Manila, I totally freaked out because gods, I never thought she’d come here! I was a bit heartbroken though because another bookstore will be hosting this event. I mean I already have all her books in hardcover US editions but I can do nothing but accept that I’d have to buy another set of her books (UK editions to be specific).

Right now, National Book Store officially released their mechanics for the SJM book signing event. There are some disappointments (aka NO POSED PICS WITH THE AUTHOR and BOOK LIMIT). However, again, I can’t do anything about these. I would have to deal with these because I really really really really would love to see one of my most beloved authors of all time. Like I literally would cry with happiness when I see her in person. I will set aside my frustration and try to focus instead on the fact that I’ll get to meet her.

Sarah’s Book signing event in Manila, hosted by National Book Store, will be on March 13 at NBS Glorietta 1. I’m so excited!!!!!

10 Ways to Survive Waiting for Throne of Glass Book 5

Any Throne of Glass fans here? Just in case you don’t know, I am such a fan of this series. I’ve raved so much about this series for like a bajillion times already. It brought my hardcore fangirl heart back alive. It’s been pretty dormant these past few years but when I read Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas last year, I instantly fell in love with everything that is in the book. I am already afraid again for myself for being so much invested in this series. But you can never be afraid to love if it makes you happy right? 😛

Anyhoo, if you’re a ToG fan already, I know you know how painful it is for us to wait another year just get our hands on ToG book 5. Oh Gods, give us strength!

As a fellow ToG fan and Fireheart, here I am to guide you and teach you my ways on how to survive waiting for Throne of Glass Book 5:

  1. Read the previous books in the series as much as you can.

I know this is a no-brainer…but it’s really one of the best things you could do to survive. Reliving all the best  moments in the series will help you get through the one year we have to endure. Plus, you’ll be a pro in the ToG if you can remember every single detail about it, right? Ahhh…that giddy feeling I felt during the yulemas when Celaena and Dorian…..aghhhh…asdfghjkl

Oops. Sorry. 😉

    2. Decode chapters or sections of the book like crazy

I’m probably not the only one who does this. I tell you there are plenty of us who does this. Don’t worry. Your behavior is totally normal. I usually stay up late at night trying to decipher the lines in some of the sections in the book. I mean “They were all players in an unfinished game.”…Sounds familiar? I’m still pretty sure my ship is sailing *whispers: Doraelin is endgame*

      3. Make your own ToG playlist.

Such a good way to step up your reading experience! Drown in loads of feels while reading your favorite ToG book.

     4. Create a ToG-dedicated blog.

I haven’t done this one yet but I’m pretty close to doing it. I have this blog though to rave about it! I’m pretty much writing all of my feels out of my fangirling heart!

5. Write your own fanfiction!

I’ve tried to search a ToG fanfic but there’s nothing yet that caught my eye. If this is going to continue, I might as well create my own fanfiction…. inside my head. For the gifted writers out there, why not write  a ToG fanfic? I mean there are some stuff in the series that we are frustrated about but in fanfic we can make what we want to happen, happen.

   6. Do booktube-marathon.

Feeling alone? Like there’s no one to fangirl with you because well nobody can understand you but your fellow fandom members, right? Booktube is the first answer to your problem. Before, I have no place to go whenever I finish a book. Now, I can see other people who love the books that I love as much as I do. It’s too much fun watching their reviews and reactions about the series.

     7. Watch Sarah’s interviews.

I dedicate a healthy portion of my time watching interviews of Sarah aka Our Queen. You know how much we hunger for some precious ToG deets!

     8. Join Facebook Groups or online discussions.

I’m lucky enough to discover some facebook groups which are solely dedicated to discussing Queen of Shadows. I think, it’s my place to be until the next book gets released next year. There are also ToG online discussions in Goodreads. I think I also saw pretty interesting posts in Tumblr regarding the happenings in the ToG series.

     9. Stalk Sarah’s Pinterest.

If you still don’t know about this, Sarah’s Pinterest is full of hints about her novels. I confess that this is so addictive. I check it like everyday to see if I can maybe get a glimpse to what will happen in ToG book 5. Tip: Look at the comments section of the pictures, you can learn a lot from those.

 10. Search and Formulate Theories.

Finally! The last and most essential way to survive the long wait is to search and formulate theories. I tell you, I have found some really good theories in Tumblr and Instagram. When I tell really good theories, I mean theories which are so good they might as well be reading Sarah’s mind. I hope they can, especially those who theorize about Dorian and Aelin ending up together. Those Doraelin endgame theories are all I have until ToG 5 release next year!

Leigh Bardugo in Philippines

Last June 21st, we had the privilege to meet the Best Selling Author of the epic Grisha Trilogy, Leigh Bardugo. The event was held at the National Book Store Glorietta 1 branch.

I arrived there by 7 in the morning. The line of the attendees was pretty much long when I got there. It turned out that I was 98th. Not bad for me who came late. Anyway, kudos to the early birds who came there a day before the event. The registration of the event begun at 10AM. I was surprised to get some freebies. We were given “Grisha for Life” pins and Six of Crows bookmarks. Aghhhh, the beauty of these little things:

The event started  past 2PM. The feeling of overwhelming joy flowed in my system. Because it’s LEIGH BARDUGO in front of me!!! Thank goodness tears did not flow. Lol. We all gave her our warm welcome. Then, as per usual, the NBS events host does her interview with the author.

In the interview, Leigh thanked her Filipino fans and told us how fun her trip have been so far. Also, here are some points that were touched during the Q & A portion 😉

*Her favorite Filipino food is pork adobo.

*She always knew who Alina is going to end up with.

*Leigh mentioned that the paperback copies of  Ruin and Rising will be available in August.  There will be a sneak peek for what she called “The Darkling Collection”. She said that it’s  going to be entitled “Demon in the Wood”. (Honestly, this one made me freak out. OMG! I CANNOT WAIT!!!!)

*It was easier for her to write about the bad characters than the good ones.

*On her advise to her fans, she said “Read everything. Never be ashamed reading of young adult”.

*Leigh also told us about what we can expect with her newest series, Six of Crows.

Finally, after a looong wait..we get to have our books signed and our pictures taken with her.

She’s so nice and friendly. Thank goodness, I didn’t stutter while talking to her. She’s got that personality which will put you into ease when talking to her. I was pretty much proud of myself for being able to make a decent conversation. Lol. I had so much feels..so much happiness. Here’s my babies with her sign on them:

Epic Feels: Michelle Hodkin in Manila?

Anyone who knows me very well is aware that I am a huge fan of the Mara Dyer series. Ever since I’ve laid my eyes on that book cover and read it and devoured it, I cannot help but fangirl hard about the series especially when it comes to Noah Shaw. I already posted here a couple of times on how much I’m in love with these books. So, last December 3, Fully Booked posted this on their Facebook page:

Many had their speculations, and then someone posted this pic too:

Wow. Wow. Wow. Oh gods, how much they look alike right? And damn straight, that someone was right. These were the latest clues from the Fully Booked Facebook posts:

That line “love to ruins” comes from The Evolution of Mara Dyer.

“The boy is destined for greatness, but with you, he is in danger. You are linked, the two of you. You must leave him. This is what I have seen.”

I grew frustrated. “Is he in danger because of me?”

“He will die before his time with you by his side, unless you let him go. Fate or chance? Coincidence or destiny? I cannot say.” Her voice had turned soft.

Soft and sad.

A fist closed around my heart. I tried to let him go once before. It didn’t work.

“I can’t,” was all I said to her, and quietly.

“Then you will love him to ruins,” she said, and let my hands go.”
Michelle Hodkin, The Evolution of Mara Dyer

Then, another pic with a clue:

Keyword there is “Retribution”. Oh gosh, I’m still dealing with my emotions right now. Lol.

So yeah, there’s 99.9999% chance that this Mystery Author is Michelle Hodkin!!!!! No, wait..I’m 200% sure of this!! Woohoo!!!

I better be present at this event! I’m going to see the queen!!! 😀

What non-book nerds don’t understand

Book Nerds are nice people…like really really nice but there comes a point wherein we get so frustrated by defending our bookish ways. There are lots things about us that non-book nerds don’t understand. Those make us go mad and sad. Why? Because we frigging want them to get our point or our feels..whatever. Based on my own experience, there had been loads of questions asked about my love for books and some people can’t seem to wrap around their minds about it. Like I am talking about something so absurd and crazy

Here are some things about us that non-book nerds don’t understand:

1. How necessary it is for us to visit a bookstore at least once or twice in two weeks

I don’t know about you but I feel the necessity to visit and browse the bookstores at least every week or two. Whenever, me and my friends go out, they know instantly that we would all have to make a stop at the book store. There’s just something about the bookstores which make me feel more relaxed. It’s like my weekly therapy. If I can’t afford to buy a book due to a budget constraint, I just look at the beauty of the books displayed on the shelves of a bookstore.

2. It’s more important to buy books than new clothes or shoes or bags or any other stuff.

My mother always say: ” You buy so many books Jenny. You don’t even have new clothes. Look at you!” And I will reply, “Mom, I don’t care about new clothes. I rarely even go outside.” (Oops. Did I just gave a clue about my non-existent social life? Lol, jk)

*Yes, when I shop for books, the world gets better.*

3. We get extremely defensive when other people hate on the books that we love.

There are those people who make sure to accomplish their job which is hating the books that other people love. I get it. Yeah, you may think that it’s cool to bash books that make other happy but it’s not cool at all. If you hate a book that much, can you please keep it to yourself? It will not be your gain if you continue on wasting your energy on hating books that other people love. What do you even get from it? Like seriously..What????? Book nerds like me are extremely passionate about the books that we love. We even make an extra effort to defend our favorite books to people who hate them.

4. Reading books is like going on an adventure.

I love it when I read a book so awesome that I feel like I am having an epic jpourney with the characters. I love a book that sucks me in right into its story. Then, when you finish it, you will get so sad because you got so attached with the characters and so invested with the fictional world you don’t ever want it to end. Non-book nerds will not get the sadness we feel when we turn the last page of a book..especially, the last page of a book in a series. *Ugly Sobs*

5. Fangirling/ Fanboying/ Fandoms

Oh my..those books that are so epic and beautiful that at the moment you read it and even after you finish it, you fangirl/ fanboy over it. Nobody except your fellow mates in the fandom will understand you and your feels. Meanwhile, the non-book nerds will look at you like you’re losing your mind.

Basically, this is my point (Well said, Mr. John Green):

More Selection Novels, More Feels!!!!!

Ever since I read the last page of The One, I was happy but more of sad to leave behind Maxon and America. America might be the most annoying indecisive character ever but I love The Selection Series with all my heart.

Anyway, Selectioners have been all delighted to receive the news from Ms. Kiera Cass that aside from the novella, The Queen (to be released on December 2nd), Marlee is going to be featured in another novella entitled, The Favorite. How awesome is that right?

If that news is not enough..well there is more!!!! And I cannot help my feels..*gasps for air*

Ms. Cass also announced that she will be publishing two more novels for the series. One of which is The Heir. It’s going to be out next summer. So, who’s excited with me? This is sure a treat for all of us. I know I might not be the only one wanting for more from Maxon and America. I don’t care. I just want to read more about Illea. What happened to the country after the war and the wedding.

I am sure there are more interesting stuff to see in the series. I seriously am marking my calendars once The Heir gets a release date.

For the meantime, let’s all enjoy the sneak peek to The Queen and the bonus epilogue for the One. Congrats Selectioners, Ms. Cass granted our wishes for more novels from the series. Yay! *virtual party*

More Book Signings in Philippines! Yay!

If you are a book nerd living in the Philippines, you still probably have hangovers from the most recent book signing events of authors, Jenny Han and Stephanie Perkins. Lucky you, if you were able to attend. Meanwhile, me is still a mourning a bit for not being able to see them but at least my friend got my books signed.

Anyway, in case you missed the news, more and more authors are coming to visit the Philippines. It’s so thrilling  that the other authors that we all absolutely adore know of our existence. Lol. Anyway, here are the authors who are confirmed/rumored to do book signings in PH:

1. Alex London

Alex London is the author of the dystopian novels entitled, Proxy and Guardian. National Book Store will be organizing the event. It will be on August 30, 2014 (2 PM) at SM Aura. Registration for the said event will start at 10 AM. Few more days to go!

2. Jennifer Smith and Lissa Price

September will be indeed the month of the book nerds in the Philippines. Aside from the Manila International Book Fair, two authors, Jennifer Smith and Lissa Price will come visit us. Personally, Jennifer Smith is my one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to meet her in person. Her famous novels are The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight, This is What Happy Looks Like, and The Geography of You and Me. On the other hand, I haven’t read Lissa Price’s novels yet but I’ll try! Her well-known novels are Starters and Enders. Their book signing event will occur on September 19 (SM Cebu, at 6 PM), September 20 (SM Aura, at 2 PM), and September 21 (MIBF SMX Convention Center, at 4 PM). If you are going to attend on the 21st, make sure you come early since only 200 people will be accommodated.

3. Madeleine Roux

There are also rumors going around that Madeleine Roux, the author of Asylum, will also come sometime in October. There are no official announcements yet though!

4. Marie Lu

Another beloved author by many Filipinos is Marie Lu. She is the best-selling author of the dystopian series, Legend. She’ll be coming this fall..probably on November if ever? I’m guessing her event will be held by National Book Store.

5. Colleen Hoover, Tina Reber and Tarryn Fisher

Are you an avid New Adult reader? I think you are also looking forward to meet these three great authors. Earlier this July, Colleen Hoover posted a status on Facebook about a possible visit to Philippines in 2015. Plus, it looks like Tarryn Fisher (Love me with lies series & Mud Vein) and Tina Reber (Love Unscripted) will come too! Oh pretty please, I hope the Atria Indie authors will have a tour here!

6. E. Lockhart

And the latest addition to the long list of authors who’ll visit Philippines is E. Lockhart. She wrote We Were Liars which really got a lot of hype from the YA readers. She’s coming to visit us on March 2015. I’m so stoked!!!

See? It’s a long long list after all. It’s really nice to have authors coming and visiting us here. I hope more and more of them will come. 🙂 Thank you so much book gods and goddesses!

A-Z Bookish Survey Tag

This is the first survey tag that I made a post on. Prior to this, I once got tagged but I kept forgetting on making a post about it. So, here I am, doing it! Yay! Thanks to Gen Gen’s Book Blog for tagging me! Also, this awesome Book Survey Tag is made by Perpetual Page Turner. This is basically a survey with BOOK questions from A to Z.

Okay! So, let’s get this started!!! 😀

Author you’ve read the most books from:

Uhmmm..that would be a tie between Becca Fitzpatrick and Stephanie Meyer. I have read 5 books written by Ms. Fitzpatrick. Those were the Hush Hush Saga,  which are composed of 4 books, and the other one is an ARC of Black Ice. As for Ms. Meyer, I’ve read all her Twilight Saga books, including The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner. I never got to finish The Host, so I wouldn’t count it in. So, yeah… 5 books from both of these authors.

Best Sequel Ever:

The award for the Best Sequel Ever IMO would be Ignite Me (Shatter Me #3) by Tahereh Mi. The feels that I was getting all throughout the book was indescribable. I still miss Juliette and Warner up to this day. 😉

Currently Reading:

I just finished reading Anna and the French Kiss but the next one on my list is Wallbanger by Alice Clayton!!!! I’m so excited!!!

Drink of Choice While Reading:

Either water or coffee only..but more of water..I try as much as I can not to drink while reading because I’m afraid of ruining the book.. (you guys feel me?)

E-reader or Physical Book?

I am more fond of physical book. It feels better to have a book to sniff and hug after all.

Fictional Character You Probably Would Have Actually Dated In High School:

Hmmm..most probably Levi from Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. He has lots of sense of humor and comfortable to be around with. I also love his geeky side and how he enjoyed listening to Cath’s stories about Simon Snow. He’s like the kind of guy who could tolerate my fangirling tendencies.

Glad You Gave This Book A Chance:

Under The Never Sky by Veronica Rossi. At first while I was reading this, I was all hesitant because her dystopian world is hard to dive into. It’s complicated to visualize in my head plus I can’t identify much with the characters. Good thing that I gave it a chance because I later on discovered how great it is!

Hidden Gem Book:

The Overnight Socialite by Bridie Clark is such a fun fun book to read. It may have the cliche plot of geeky girl to glamorous girl makeovers..but yeah I still enjoyed the author’s hilarious writing style. I love the characters’ transformation!

Important Moment in your Reading Life:

Joining a Facebook group of readers who talk about books all the freaking time! That’s when I met some book lover friends..and ever since then I was dragged into attending book signings. I’m so happy that I discovered that I am not alone and that I have people to share the books that I read with.

Just Finished:

Unbreakable by Abby Reynolds! Gosh, I didn’t expect it to be just so beautiful. I was surprised that I did like the novel. It was very touching and moving. It’s a story about moving on from the past and letting yourself love again despite your misfortunes in life.

Kinds of Books You Won’t Read:

I’m not into non-fiction books. I can try but I think I will not be able to make it through the entire book.

Longest Book You’ve Read:

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows! It has 759 pages..yeah it was a long long long journey..

Major book hangover because of:

Allegiant by Veronica Roth gave me the worst book hangover ever. I was emotionally traumatized by the turn of events because  the ending made me cry a lot and urghhhh it’s hard to explain. All I did when I finished it was stare at wall and tell to myself repeatedly, “Wtf? Wtf? Wtf? I cannot.”

Number of Bookcases You Own:

I only own one..I try to fit all of my books there as much as I can. So far, I was able to organize and fit all of them there.

One Book You Have Read Multiple Times:

I am a huge Twilight fan, so I have to admit this. I was so obsessed by it that I read it like 8 times or more. I lost count!

Preferred Place To Read:

On the couch..anywhere quiet and comfy 🙂

Quote that inspires you/gives you all the feels from a book you’ve read:

“Who needs psychiatrists? Who needs counselors and life coaches and motivational speakers? Fuck all that. Just stare at the night sky and let yourself get lost in it every now and then.”-Andrew Parrish, The Edge of Always. This duology, The Edge of Never and The Edge of Always, gave me a lot of feels. I cried and laughed while reading it but most importantly, I felt as if I had a journey with Cam and Andrew. I really got to appreciate life while I read those books.

Reading Regret:

Spend lots of money to buy books..why do books need to be so damn pricey? I admit that there are times when I spend too much on books. I regret spending much on it but I don’t know..I DON’T really feel guilty. I just feel sorry for myself when I need to be tight on budget because I already spent my extra money on books. I still keep on doing it though. I can’t do anything about it. Lol.

Series You Started And Need To Finish(all books are out in series):

I have loads of series that I have started reading but needed to finish. I think Under the Never Sky series by Veronica Roth and Eve trilogy by Anna Carey. I need to finish them as soon as I can.

Three of your All-Time Favorite Books:

Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer (will always have a special place in my heart), The Edge of Never by J.A. Redmerski, and Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell.

Unapologetic Fangirl For:

Rainbow Rowell! Gosh, she’s just so amazing! I love her..I can’t even!!!!

Very Excited For This Release More Than All The Others:

The Retribution of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin! It’s release will be on November this year. So, I am really looking forward to having my copy!!!

Worst Bookish Habit:

Maybe slouch while reading??? Or squeal a LOT when I am having so much FEELS?

X Marks The Spot: Start at the top left of your shelf and pick the 27th book:

Fallen by Lauren Kate 🙂

Your latest book purchase:

Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins!

ZZZ-snatcher book (last book that kept you up WAY late):

The last book that kept me up later was Anna and the French Kiss. I was not able to resist turning page after page. It was so addicting! Damn, St. Clair! Lol!

I am tagging these awesome people:

Matilda, All Grown Up

and anyone else who wants to!

I’m looking forward to reading yours guys! Have fun!!! 🙂
